Head-to-head

Tango Card, now part of Blackhawk Network, is the closest peer: large gift-card catalog, API, enterprise focus. Differences: Tango historically leans on contracts and minimums for the best terms, while Tremendous is self-serve and free from the first reward. Tango’s catalog is strong in the US; Tremendous covers more countries. Cash-style payouts are a Tremendous strength.

Choose Tango if you are already inside the Blackhawk ecosystem or need physical cards. Choose Tremendous for international reach and zero platform cost.

Giftbit targets small and mid-size senders with a simple dashboard and API, and offers cashback on unclaimed cards. The catalog is smaller and more North-America-centric, and cash payout options are limited. Pricing is also free-to-send with fees on some card types.

Choose Giftbit for a lightweight US/Canada program. Choose Tremendous for choice, geography and cash options.

Rybbon (rebranded BHN Rewards) is built around research and marketing survey integrations with deep Qualtrics and SurveyMonkey hooks and a strong e-gift catalog. Pricing has tiered plans. Tremendous matches the integrations through Zapier and native connectors and adds prepaid and cash options at no subscription.

Choose Rybbon if its native survey integration is exactly what you need. Choose Tremendous for flexibility and price.

For bank-cash at scale (marketplace sellers, creators, gig payouts), dedicated payout rails such as PayPal Payouts, Tipalti or Stripe Connect usually cost less per transaction than 4–6%, but require integration, tax and compliance setup and do not offer a reward catalog. Tremendous wins on speed to launch and recipient choice; processors win on unit cost for pure cash.
