Account setup
- Sign up with a work email
Self-serve. Verify the email, add company details; some accounts get a short KYB (know-your-business) check before large funding.
- Add a funding source
Connect a US, EU or UK bank account for free funding, or a card for 3%. Transfer an opening balance.
- Invite teammates
Assign roles and spend limits now; it is harder to retrofit once campaigns are running.
Sending
- Create a campaign
Name, default amount, allowed rewards (all, or a curated list), email subject and message, logo and colors.
- Add recipients
Type one in, or upload a CSV with email or phone, amount and any custom fields you want echoed in the message.
- Review and send
The preview shows the exact email. Sends are instant; scheduled sends are supported.
- Watch status
Sent → opened → redeemed. Reminders go out automatically to unopened rewards on the schedule you set.
Automation
Trigger: new survey response (Qualtrics, Typeform, SurveyMonkey, Google Forms), deal won (HubSpot, Salesforce), form submitted, row added to a sheet. Action: Tremendous “Send reward” with the campaign, amount and recipient mapped from the trigger. Build once, forget it.
Authenticate with an API key, create an order against a campaign with one or more rewards, and subscribe to webhooks for delivery and redemption. Use the sandbox first; the request shape is identical in production. Typical integration for a research panel is under a day of engineering.
Reconciling
Export orders by date range to CSV: recipient, amount, method, status, campaign, custom fields. Funding invoices download separately. Finance teams usually map campaigns to cost centers and reconcile monthly against the balance statement. Unclaimed rewards return to the balance after the expiry window, so the month-end figure can rise slightly.
